Schemes in the Central Sector: The Centre alone is responsible for funding and administering these government assistance programs. They are being put into practise for the benefit of Indian residents by several Departments & Union Ministries. Agriculture infrastructure funds, crop insurance programs, interest subsidies for farmers receiving feedstock programs, short-term loans, metro projects, border infrastructure, police infrastructure, and management, and national river conservation programs are a few examples of central sector programs.

State Government Schemes: These programs include the Chief Minister’s Adarsh Gramme Yojana, Chief Minister’s Krishi Rinn Yojana, Arunachal Pradesh, and several more. They are funded, designed, and carried out solely by the State government.

Jal Jeevan Yojana

The Jal Jeevan program aims to provide public water service to 4 crore rural communities by the year 2022. The PM emphasised in the latest webinar the Jal Jeevan Mission’s objective of attaining community engagement and technological service delivery by 2024. In 2022, the government budget would provide 62,000 crores of rupees to the Jal Jeevan program.

PMAY, or the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan

RUSA provides strategic funding to eligible state higher education institutions. It aims to increase accountability, responsiveness, and transparency in the state’s higher education system while also increasing efficiency and access to excellence at a higher level.

Swachh Bharat Mission:

Kisan Suryodaya Yojana

To provide farmers in Gujarat with daytime power for irrigation, Prime Minister Modi launched the Kisan Suryodaya Yojana on 24th October 2020. The program will provide energy for irrigation to farmers in 1055 villages spread over three districts from 5 am to 9 pm. To develop the necessary transmission infrastructure by 2024, the Gujarat State Government has allocated Rs 3,600 crores.
