JEE Advanced 2022 Answer Key and Response Sheet
Paper 1 and Paper 2 preliminary answer keys are available on the website. Any challenges candidates have can be submitted through the candidate portal after the preliminary answer keys have been made public. After applicants’ objections have been taken into account, final answer keys are made available online. All grades will be assigned based on the final answer key.

JEE Advanced 2022 Admission Process
The JEE Main exam is the first step in the admissions process for JEE Advanced 2022.

Form of Application for the JEE Advanced 2022 Exam
- The application form for JEE Advanced can only be submitted by individuals who have achieved a rank in JEE Main 2022 that places them among the top 2.5 lakh candidates. The application must be sent electronically, and the only place to find the application form is on the official website.
- Every student is required to complete the initial registration process by going to the official website and submitting their JEE Main 2022 roll number, password, and security pin. This is the first stage.
- The second phase in the application process for JEE Advanced 2022 requires students to submit different personal facts such as their name, the name of their parents, communication details, address details, and so on into the appropriate columns of the application form. The information on the application form needs to be correct because giving false information could lead to a candidate’s candidacy being canceled later on.
- When filling out the application form, students will also be required to express their preferences for the location of the examinations.
- Students will also have to provide scanned pictures of their passport-sized photos and signatures, in addition to the information.
- After submitting all of the necessary information, students must print out several copies of the completed application form for future use.

JEE Advanced 2022 Counselling - JOSAA
For the current academic year, the seats at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and any other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs) will be offered and allotted through a standardized procedure that will be administered by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). This procedure will take place entirely online. Candidates who took the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2022 and got a rank are eligible to take part in the Joint Seat Allocation process.
The JoSAA is conducted solely online. All applicants who are qualified for admission will have to take part in the joint process of seat allocation. During this process, they will be asked to list in order of preference the courses and schools they want to be admitted to.
JEE Advanced 2022 Result
Results for JEE Advanced 2022 are made public online. Candidates will need to log in before they can check their scores or download their scorecards. In addition, candidates will receive text messages on the mobile phone numbers that they have provided for themselves. There will not be any individual rank cards sent out to candidates.

Eligibility Requirements for the JEE Advanced
The requirements for eligibility have been loosened up a bit for this year’s competition. Candidates can look at the information below to see if they are eligible to take the JEE Advanced in 2022.
There are five factors to consider:
- Results of the JEE Main 2022: Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in the BE/BTech Paper of the JEE (Main) 2022 exam. This requirement applies to all candidate categories. You can check the following table to see how many applicants will be accepted into each category for JEE Advanced 2022.
- There is an age restriction, and applicants must have been born on or after October 1, 1997, to be eligible. The age requirements for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories are pushed back by five years, meaning that these candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1992.
- A candidate is allowed to take the JEE (Advanced) a maximum of thrice in each of the two years that immediately follow the first attempt.
- Candidates who graduated from high school in 2021 or 2022 are eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam in 2022.
Exceptions to this standard for the current year are as follows:
- Candidates who first took the class 12th (or equivalent) examination in 2020 OR 2021 AND successfully registered for JEE (Advanced) 2021 but did not appear in any of the papers are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2022. Candidates must have successfully registered for JEE (Advanced) 2021. Candidates falling into this category are exempt from meeting any additional requirements.
- Candidates who will have completed Class 12 or its equivalent in 2020 are only allowed one attempt at taking the JEE Advanced exam; they can do so in either 2020 or 2021. In addition to that, they need to pass the JEE Main 2022 exam and be among the top 2.5 lakh applicants.
Earlier admission at IITs: A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT in the past, regardless of whether or not the candidate continued in the program or accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” or at a “reporting center” in the past. This rule applies regardless of whether or not the candidate continues in the program.
