Eligibility: Who Can Apply?

Age limit:
- Not older than 27 years old as of 25.11.22, and between the ages of 18 and 25 years old as of 25.11.22
- The maximum age might be lowered by 5 years for applicants from SC/ST and by 3 years for those from OBC.
- There is a relaxation of the upper age restriction for departmental applicants up to the age of 40, provided that they have performed three years of regular and continuous service.

- There is a relaxation of the age restriction of up to a maximum of 5 years for those outstanding athletes who are listed in Paragraph 1 (a) of D.O.P. & A.R., O.M. No. 14015/1/76-Estt.(D), dated April 8, 1980.
- The applicant who wishes to claim an age reduction under this category is required to provide the requested certificate, which must be in the form and issued by the authority specified in the OM that serves as reference.
