Graduate students who want to enrol in postgraduate programs must take the GATE exam, a computer-based test (CBT). The application period for GATE 2023, for which registration has already started on August 30th,2022. Applicants who have been waiting to apply for M.Tech admission, other PG programs, or PSU recruitment through GATE must submit their applications before the deadline.
Following the results announcement date, GATE 2023 scores are valid for the next three years. According to IIT Kanpur’s announcement, the GATE 2023 exam will be held on February 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th, 2023.

Applicants must hold one of the below-mentioned undergraduate degrees to apply for GATE Examination 2023. The exam is also open to applicants who are in their third or final year of an undergraduate program.
Passing score: There is no minimum passing rate requirement for GATE 2023 eligibility.
Age Restriction: There is no set age restriction for applicants applying for the GATE exam.
Nationality: An aspirant must be from India.
Eligibility for Candidates from Outside India: applicants from Ethiopia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Bangladesh, and the United Arab Emirates are also eligible to apply for GATE 2023.
Two cut-offs will be used: one will be the GATE qualifying cut-off, which will be announced by the GATE Committee, and the other will be the GATE admission cut-off, which will be announced by the relevant institutions for the admissions process. To be admitted to the NITs and IITs, applicants must be eligible for both.
The application process for Ph.D., M.Tech., and other programs will be handled independently by the aforementioned institutions; the GATE Committee will NOT be in charge of this process.
