Exam Pattern of the RRB NTPC Recruitment CBT 1 Exam 2023
Applicants are screened by the authorities using a preliminary (CBT) computer-based test. It will take a total of 1.5 hours to finish the exam. The applicants from the Pwd category will get 2 hours to finish the exam. 0.25 scores are deducted for each question that is answered wrong. Exam Pattern for RRB NTPC Exam CBT 2 in 2023

Exam Pattern for CBAT for RRB NTPC (Only for applicants who have opted for Station Master & Traffic Assistant Posts)
- To qualify, applicants must receive a minimum Total Score of 42 points on each of the tests.
- No relaxation will be given in the minimum Total Score requirement, and it applies to all applicants regardless of community or category.
- For consideration for the position of SM/TA, applicants must pass each test of the CBAT.
- Only Hindi & English will be the available languages for the CBAT’s questions and answers.
- Negative marking system is not permitted during CBAT.
- Only applicants who complete the CBAT will be included in the merit list, with the marks earned in the CBAT carrying 70% of the weight.
Typing Skill Test (TST)
- The applicants who qualify for the above stages will be called for the TST round.
- The applicants must be able to type on a computer only at a speed of 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi without the use of editing software or spell checking.
Medical Exam for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2023
The Railway Administration will conduct a physical fitness test on applicants who satisfy the aforementioned selection criteria to ensure that they are physically and medically capable of performing the duties associated with the position they have chosen. One of the key requirements for an employee’s medical fitness is the Visual Acuity Standard.
Verification of Documents (DV)
Applicants equivalent to the number of openings will be called for Document Verification based on their merit and alternatives, as well as on how well they performed in the 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable).

The RRB NTPC 2023 call letter must be downloaded from the regional websites by the applicants. Follow these instructions to download your RRB NTPC admission card:
- Access the RRB website by going to http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in.
- Once there, click on “Other RRBs” under “Other Links” on the homepage.
