Hiring Process for JNU Non-teaching Staff 2023

For JNU non-teaching positions, candidates must be chosen from three levels: Paper 1, 2, and Interview. Aspirants should utilise the JNU Non-Teaching Pattern & Syllabus as a reference while they get ready for their JNU Non-Teaching test. This kind of objective test is the JNU Non-Teaching Competitive Test.
Test Paper 1 is worth 300 points and lasts 120 minutes. Paper 2 will be administered by the relevant department’s function. The syllabus for JNU’s non-teaching profiles was provided by university officials. Syllabus for JNU Non-teaching Staff 2023

For Paper 1:

(i) General Awareness Section: The purpose of the test is to gauge the aspirant’s general knowledge of the environment and its importance to society. The questions will also be made to test your knowledge of current affairs and other topics that an educated person could be expected to be familiar with. Questions on foreign policy, history, and the constitution of India as well as its neighbours will be included in the test. Economics, art and culture, Geography, and general policy. Science & Scientific Research. Events held by international & national institutions, etc.

(ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications: The test will cover computer fundamentals, fundamental computer components, fundamental computer applications, operating systems, the internet, word processing, networking, and security among other topics.

 

Syllabus for Paper II: Assistant Registrar, Senior Assistant, Deputy Registrar, Section Officer

Financial & Establishment Matters: The Departmental Promotion Committee , Compensatory Allowances, Children’s Education Allowance, CCS (Conduct) Regulations , Deputation, and Foreign Regulations for CCS(CCA), MACP, housing allocation, joining time, income tax, leave, CGHS , leave travel concession (LTC), and medical.

University Administration: Questions on University Administration will be found in this section, including those about the University Authorities’ authority and duties, the process for handling cases before the University Court, the formulation of evaluation & curricula methods, Executive Council, Finance Committee, Academic Council, ordinances, the process for creating statutes, and regulations, as well as other issues about the operation of the University.
