State Bank of India has released the official notification for the post of SBI Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) in the clerical cadre. There are a total of 5,486 vacancies currently available for SBI Clerks 2023.

The registration began on 7 September 2023. The last date to apply for 5,486 vacancies is 27 September 2023.
Selection Process | SBI Clerk Vacancy 2023
The selection process for SBI Junior Associates is tedious and extensive. It includes a preliminary exam, a mains exam and a test of local language.
If you produce your 10th or 12th marksheet as a proof that you have studied the opted local language, there will be no need to appear for the test of local language.
Preliminary Examination: Phase I
The Preliminary Examination will be conducted online. The test will be in objective form for 100 marks. This test would be of one hour. The exam will be divided into 3 sections. As displayed in the table below, each section will have a set time duration.
All the sections will have negative marking of 1/4th marks. There is no section wise criteria to pass the exam. For qualification to the mains stage, a merit list will be made. 10 times the number of total available vacancies will be shortlisted for the mains examination.

Mains Examination: Phase II
If you qualify the prelims exam, you will be called to appear for the mains exam. The mains examination will also be conducted online. There will be 4 sections and each section is allotted separate timings. This test will also be in objective form. Again, there will be negative marking. 1/4th of the total mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

To qualify Phase II of SBI Clerk 2023, the candidate needs to score a minimum percentage overall. There is no section wise minimum marks for qualifying, However, candidates belonging to OBC/ SC/ ST/ PwBD/ ESM/ DESM, are granted a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate percentage. The Bank at its discretion will decide the minimum qualifying marks.
The candidates who manage to qualify the exam, will then be placed in the merit list. Merit lists will be prepared state wise and category wise.
