Section I:

 

The test will contain questions on three abilities or skills

 

1. Analytical Reasoning Skills
2. Capabilities in mathematics, including arithmetic, elementary algebra, and notions of geometry
3. Verbal Capabilities, Including Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction, and Sentence Completion

Section II:

 

The test will contain questions on following concepts or skills

• Digital Logic: Boolean algebra. Circuits that use combinations and sequences. Minimization. The representations of numbers and arithmetic done on computers (fixed and floating point).

• Databases: ER?model. Relational model: relational algebra, tuple calculus, SQL. Constraints on the integrity of the data, normal forms Organization of files and indexing (such as using B and B+ trees) Controlling transactions and several users simultaneously.

• The idea of layering in relation to computer networks. LAN technologies (Ethernet). strategies for flow and error control as well as switching. IPv4/IPv6, routing techniques, and routers all come into play here (distance vector, link state). TCP/UDP, sockets, and congestion management are the topics covered here. Protocols used on the application layer (DNS, SMTP, POP, FTP, HTTP). An introduction to Wi-Fi. Authentication, the fundamentals of public key and private key cryptography, digital signatures and certificates, and firewalls are some of the components that make up network security.

• The organization and architecture of computers, including different addressing modes and machine instructions. The control unit, the data route, and the ALU.
