Central Silk Board (CSB)

Central Silk Board Recruitment 2023 Eligibility

Assistant Director (A&A):

  • An Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants-trained chartered accountant;or 
  • An Indian Institute of Cost Accountants-trained Cost Accountant;or
  • Certified Company Secretary from the Indian Institute of Company Secretaries;or
  • Master of Business Administration, or
  • Master’s degree in Commerce from an accredited college or university

Computer Programmer:

  • Graduate with at least an II class in computer science and at least two years of expertise in electronic data processing (EDP), or 
  • With a degree in science, mathematics, statistics, commerce, economics, and a postgraduate diploma in computer applications, together with two years of experience in electronic data processing,or
  • M.Sc. in Computer Science.

Assistant Superintendent (Admn.)

  • Having a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university and five years of experience in accounts or administration in a government agency, public sector organisation, or licenced business

Assistant Superintendent (Tech)

  • Minimum II Class Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology, Botany, Agriculture, or Sericulture OR an equivalent degree from a recognised university with at least 50% of the possible points.

Stenographer (Grade-1)

  • Having a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and five years of experience working for a government agency, public sector organisation, or licenced business.
  • Skill Test Norms:Dictation time: ten minutes at a pace of 120 words per minute. Transcription time (on computer): 75 minutes (English), 95 minutes (Hindi).
  • The skill test will only be done on a computer.
  • The language in which the skill test will be administered (English or Hindi) is specified below Hindi Stenographer: 01 & English Stenographer: 03

Library and Information Assistant

  • A bachelor’s degree in library science or library and information science from a recognised university or institute is required.
  • Two years of professional experience in a Central Government, State Government, Autonomous or Statutory Organization, Public Sector Undertaking, University, Recognized Research or Educational Institution library.

Junior Engineer (Electrical)

Three years of diploma in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.

Junior Translator (Hindi)

  • Bachelor’s degree in which English was either a mandatory or elective course or the language of examination; or a Master’s degree in Hindi in which English was the language of examination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hindi as a mandatory or elective subject, or as the language of examination; or Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a required or elective subject.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with English as a mandatory or elective course or as the medium of examination, and a Master’s degree in any field other than Hindi or English with Hindi medium; or
  • A master’s degree in a field other than Hindi or English in which Hindi was either a mandatory or elective course or the medium of assessment;
  • Master’s degree in a field other than Hindi or English, with both Hindi and English required or offered as electives, or a degree earned with one language serving as the medium of examination and the other as an elective;
  • You need two years of experience translating from Hindi to English or English to Hindi, or a certification or certificate from an approved school.

Upper Division Clerk (UDC)

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in conjunction with a typing speed of at least 30 words per minute in Hindi or 35 words per minute in English is required (35 WPM and 30 WPM correspond to 10500 key depressions per hour or 9000 key depressions per hour on an average of five key depressions for each word). (Allowed time is ten minutes)
  • Typing tests must be administered only on a computer.

Stenographer (Grade-II)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Diploma from a recognised Institute in Catering and three years of experience in the preparation of Indian or Continental dishes in a hostel, canteen, or guest house of the Central or State Governments, or a public sector enterprise, or a registered hotel.
