No. of Openings for Scientists in NIH 2023

National Institute of Hydrology Roorkee welcomes applications from qualified individuals for the following Scientist openings at its Regional Centres & Headquarters in Beigavi, Guwahati, Patna, Kakinada, Bhopal, & Jammu and other parts of the country. The openings will be filled through absorption, direct recruiting, or deputation. Apply within 30 days following the advertisement in the 11th February 2023 issue of the Employment Newspaper.

Eligibility Conditions:

The relative eligibility criteria for each designation are provided with posts when the notification is released, but for NIH vacancies, it may change from post to position. Most NIH Roorkee recruit aspirants will be notified when a job opening is published and their eligibility is verified.

 Age Limit:

• Scientist D: Not older than 50 years, 53 years for OBC. Scientist C: Age limit of 40 years for general and 43 years for OBC.
• Scientist B: The age limit of 35 years for the general category and 38 years for aspirants belongs to OBC.

Hiring Procedure for the National Institute of Hydrology Roorkee Vacancy 2023

• If there are too many aspirants, the Institute reserves the right to shortlist them for an interview/written test as determined by the Screening Committee.
• Aspirants called for personal interviews will be paid TA in accordance with the Institute’s rules. Unfortunately, there will be no TA for the written test.

• Aspirants must pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (one hundred only) in the form of a bank draught made payable to “NIH” for the above positions.
