Eligibility Conditions

Educational Requirement:
B.E./B. Tech (4-year course) or an equivalent degree from a reputable university, institute, or college in one of the following engineering disciplines is required of Trainee Engineers I.
The following engineering disciplines must be studied as part of a B.Tech./ B.E. degree program (4 years) or it’s equivalent from a certified university, institute, or college to qualify as a computer science project engineer.

Age Requirement:
According to the BEL employment announcement, the aspirant’s age as of 01-03-2023 cannot exceed 32 years old.

Age Benefits:
Applicants who are SC, OBC, ST, or PWD may qualify for an age reduction. The age relaxation for aspirants falling under these categories can be found here.

• Applicants must submit their applications online only at www.bel-india.in, the authorised BEL website;
• Applicants should save a scanned copy of their documentation before applying.

Hiring Process of BEL Recruitment 2023

• Written testing and interviews are part of the hiring procedure.
• An interview will come after the written test for selection (of those who are shortlisted in the written test).
• The written test will receive 85% of the marks, while the interview will receive 15% of the marks.
• According to merit, category, and discipline, aspirants who pass the written test will be shortlisted for interviews at a ratio of 1:5.
• The websites of the aspirants whose names have been shortlisted for the written exam/interview and final selection will be notified.

Duration of BEL Engineers' Training

The initial engagement duration for the BEL Officer/ Trainee Engineer will be one year, and this period will be extended for up to 2 years (excluding the primary period) based on performance & requirements.
The BEL Trainee Engineer 2 has also begun a one-year engagement period. Depending on performance and requirements, this period (excluding the starting period) may be extended by up to two years.
The BEL Project Engineer or Project Officer One will initially have a two-year engagement duration. This period may be extended by up to three years (excluding the original period) based on retirement and performance.
