The Pattern of the Exam

Prelims:

  • The test paper will be divided up into many distinct components, including: a test of computer knowledge; a test of general knowledge; a test of reasoning ability; a test of quantitative aptitude; a test of current affairs; an English language test with vocabulary and comprehension; and so on.
  • On the question paper, there will be 300 total marks.
  • The test will include negative markings, in which 0.25 points will be subtracted from a student’s total score for each incorrect response.
  • The English Language portion of the test will consist of 30 questions for a total of 30 marks, and the time allotment will be 20 minutes.
  • In the portion on quantitative aptitude/numerical ability, there will be 35 questions for a total of 35 marks, and the time allotment will be 20 minutes.
  • The time allotment for the reasoning section is going to be 20 minutes, and there will be 35 questions with a total of 35 marks.
