Educational Qualification

Post Educational Qualification Experience
Lower Division Clerk  A degree from a reputable university is required. MS-CIT or a computer course with at least three months’ worth of training in Microsoft Office is required. Candidates who have completed an associate’s degree or higher in computer science or information technology are excused from the mandatory three-month computer training course. Candidates need to have a minimum of one year of experience working in clerical positions.
Attendant  S.S.C. or an equivalent examination with a passing grade from a recognized board. The candidate must have done a variety of office tasks for at least a year, such as filing, keeping records, dispatching, using a photocopier, helping with office work, dusting and cleaning, etc.
Trade Helper  S.S.C. or an equivalent examination with a passing grade from a recognized board. The candidate should have worked in the operating room, intensive care unit, diagnostic services laboratory, engineering department, and so on, for at least one year. Miscellaneous office work, etc.
Nurse – A
  • General Nursing and Midwifery in addition to a Diploma in Oncology Nursing and one year of clinical experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds OR a Basic or Post Basic Bachelor of Science degree (Nursing).
  • Prior clinical experience before completing a Bachelor of Science degree will also be considered.
A minimum of one year of clinical experience at a facility with at least fifty beds
Nurse – B  Diploma in Oncology Nursing in addition to General Nursing and Midwifery Training Six years of clinical experience in a hospital with at least 100 beds is required. 
Nurse – C  Diploma in Oncology Nursing in addition to General Nursing and Midwifery Training Minimum of 12 years of clinical experience at a hospital with at least 100 beds

Application Fee

  • The candidate is responsible for paying the application cost of Rs.300/- online using a debit card or credit card.
  • Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, as well as female candidates, persons with disabilities, and veterans who are applying for a civil job for the first time after having served in any rank, do not have to pay the application fee.
  • The application fee that has been paid will not, under any circumstances, be reimbursed to the applicant.

Selection Process

There will be a combination of a written test and a skills demonstration to choose candidates.

Details of Written Examination & Skill Test for Lower division Clerk

  1. Written Exam: The Written Exam will be worth a total of one hundred marks and will consist of both descriptive and multiple choice questions (MCQ). For the Open and EWS categories, the passing score will be set at 50, while for the SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories, the passing mark will be set at 40.
  2. Skill Test: Those applicants who are successful in the Written Examination will be considered further for the Skill Test. Only the most qualified applicants, as determined by the ratio of posts, will be asked to take the skill test. The limitation on the number of applicants for each position will be left up to the Director of the TMC’s discretion. 

Skill Test will be for 50 marks. In every category, a score of 25 or above is required to pass. The main purpose of the Skill Test will be to determine eligibility, and the scores earned on the test will not be used towards the compilation of the final merit list. However, the individual will be eliminated from consideration if they are unable to pass the Skill Test. The marks that candidates get throughout the written examination will be used to create the final merit list used for selection purposes.

 Specifics of the Written Test and Skills Assessment for the Positions of Attendant and Trade Helper

The exam will only be given in Hindi and English.

  1. Written Exam: The Written Exam will consist of a 100-point Multiple Choice Test (MCQ). For those in the Open/EWS group, you’ll need 50 points to pass, while those in the SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories will need 40 points to do so. Passers of the aforementioned Written Examination will thereafter be invited to participate in Skill Test. 
  2. Skill Test: Only the most qualified applicants will be invited to take the Skill Test. The Director of TMC may decide whether there are too many applicants for a certain position. 

The skill test will be worth fifty points. The cutoff for each category will be 25 points. The Skill Test is meant to be a preliminary screening tool only, and the results will not factor into the evaluation of candidates. However, the individual will be eliminated from consideration if they do not pass the Skill Test. The written exam score will be the deciding factor in the selection process.

Merit List

(i) The rankings on the merit list will be determined by taking into account the marks that were earned in the written test.

(ii) If more than one applicant receives the same number of points in the written test, the tie will be broken by using the following techniques in the order listed:

  1. The candidate’s date of birth, with applicants who are older receiving better rankings.
  2. The sequence in which the names of the candidates appear, according to alphabetical order.
  3. Preparation of the queue and management of its operations. 

The waitlist is only going to be used in the event that there is a vacancy that was caused by a candidate from the select list not joining the post within the specified amount of time that was allotted for joining the post, or if a candidate joins the post but resigns or dies within a period of one year from the date that they joined and a new panel is not available by the time that the vacancy occurs.

Points to Remember

  1. Candidates are required to submit their candidacy only via a “Online Application.” During the process of filling out the Online Application, candidates will be requested to submit any relevant documents that are indicated in the form.
  2. First, candidates will be evaluated based on the information they give about themselves on the online application form. If they do well, they will be invited to an interview, written exam, or skill test.
  3. Applications that are either incomplete or have not been submitted online will be summarily rejected.
  4. Candidates who are going to be called for an interview, written examination, or skill test are required to bring original documents along with one set of copies in support of the details furnished in the online form regarding date of birth, qualifications, experience, caste, disability certificate, etc. If candidates do not carry original documents along with one set of copies, they will not be allowed to appear for an interview, written examination, or skill test.
